This is a lovely guesthouse, the staff are welcoming, the room was large & comfortable. It is great value for money & my stay included breakfast. The restaurant is definitely worth eating at. I can highly recommend Guesthouse Risnik

The staff were so helpful. The breakfast was excellent and the restaurant made a delicious evening meal. We stayed here to visit the Škocjan caves. The hotel stored our bags during the day and organised onwards taxi travel for us to Piran.

We had an excellent stay at Apartma Ob stari murvi in Sežana. The house was very nicely decorated and well-equipped and had everything we needed. The location was perfect. Private, very quiet and some good restaurants in walking distance. Our car was parked on the property behind a gate that can be closed. The welcoming by the host was really good, making us feel right at home. On the kitchen table was a welcoming gift: A bottle of wine, juice, several different cuts of delicious cured ham and fresh bread. We had choosen Sežana because it is near Trieste and near the beautifull Skocjan caves. Yes, we highly recommend this apartment!

Super short stop on our way to Venice, only slept for the night. Very understated, quality furniture and in good taste. Wanted to leave early in the morning without having breakfast and boy im glad we didn’t. Super nice host made us a delicious omelette with cheese and prosciutto that lasted us until dinner.

Very hospitable owners!!! We really much appreciated all the help they gave us - e.g. having a baby cot for our child, gluten-free break on special request, as well as even helping us out to get pizza take away as we arrived very late... Many thanks! Also the guesthouse is very elegant: beautiful garden, very tastefully decorated and modern room, great breakfast

This accomodation exceeded our expectation and offered great luxury for affordable price. The room was amazing (we had one with own jacuzzi). This place also offers dinners which include homemade local dishes that are beyond restaurant (cash only) level combined with excellent local wines. Big recommondation for that! Brekfast was very nice and served by the extremely friendly staff that fullfilled all our wishes during the stay.

The location is in the quiet village, which is great for peaceful break and a great base for sports activities and exploring the natural beauty of the karst (Škocijan caves, Divača cave, Lipica etc).     Perfect location to visit Skocjanske Jame, only a few minutes away by car. The room was quite big. We booked one family room but there were two seperated bedrooms which share one entrance, so it was safe and comfort at the same time to stay with children. We arrived late and could eat in the restaurant of the hotel for the cheap price. It was good because it's a small village and there're no other restaurants, no shops in the near.
