Holiday Rentals in Santo António

Fantastic stay at Roca Sundy. We had a room in the new wing and it was great. Highlights are the tours (especially with the boat) and the delicious food which was amazing and even better than what we would have expected. The music on some evenings made dinner even more special.

Casa Mãe is a well-renovated house with two rooms, one living room, one bathroom, and two balconies with amazing views. From the front balcony every morning we could see thousands of beautiful butterflies and colorful birds and from the back balcony, the view is unique to the garden, fruit trees, and plants like vanilla or black pepper. We also can see the sea and the national park. The staff is very kind and the property is always very clean. Near is the Pousadinha Mar Ave Ilha which belongs to the same owner where we can spend time reading or watching more than 100 TV channels from all over the world. The local meals were also fantastic, especially the fresh fish and the octopus. I truly recommend Casa Mãe to other guests who want to have a peaceful time. Grade 10.

The house is very nice, the host is very kind. We asked for dinner, it was very good. The house is not in the downtown, the environment is quiet. It has air conditioning, which comes very handy. The access road is a dirt-road, in a usual surrounding as any small place in SaoTome, but the garden around the house is nice. It is a good price/value ratio, any time again. The north beaches are easily acessible from here. We could park in the garden, and they also offer car rental, which is a very good idea, we unfortunately rented from another company, and we did have issues with fuel. Had we rented from here, all the hassle would have gone. So rent their car if you book with them!

A gorgeous, modern and clean house with all the amenities. Rita is a great host. Answered promptly any questions, helped me get in contact with a great local guide,Joaquim,to show me around the island and was always available in case you needed anything. This accommodation is perfect for anyone seeking tranquility, privacy, and a deep connection with nature. The house was clean and well-maintained, as was the spacious garden. There was plenty of room, a comfortable bed, and a large terrace ideal for relaxing and observing nature. The beach is just a short walk away, and you’ll have it all to yourself – total privacy. You are surrounded by nature, with the nearest house several hundred meters away, which adds to the peaceful atmosphere. Due to the location (in the middle of a tropical forest), the road access is a bit rough, but the natural beauty makes up for it. Breakfasts, on the terrace, were accompanied by the sounds of birds and monkeys – truly magical. Just keep in mind that the terrain is not flat, which is to be expected in a forest setting. Marie was a very attentive host and a wonderful cook. And that fruit? A taste you don't know. We ordered local meals, and everything was delicious. We also took advantage of the guided tour. Our guide picked us up from the airport and in the middle of the week took us to Praia Banana and Praia Boi, both stunning beaches in the north of the island. There’s also an option for a boat tour, which we unfortunately didn’t have time for. If you’re looking for a unique place in the heart of nature with a personal touch, this is it. We will definitely come back here.
