Very nice place to stay with lovely staff. We had a massive room and there was a washing machine in the King Suite that was quite useful to do laundry, however a clothesline to hang clothes would have been appreciated. The room is very clean and comfortable. There is a luggage storage facility which is great and easy to use. We had an issue with the room key not working at the entrance and they were very responsive on Line. There’s a little plastic door on the card reader and you’re supposed to open it even though sometimes it works fine without opening it. The wifi is very good, we were working remotely and had video calls and had no connection issues. Highly recommend Chapter 127 for anyone who needs a place to stay in Tainan.

Such a beautiful stay in Tainan and in De Provintia Straat B&B. Both the city and the establishment were gorgeous. We liked our room a lot: big and spacious, clean, everything needed was provided, perfect decoration, comfortable mattress… The location was also great to discover everything on foot. The host/owners couple is super helpful and very friendly. They gave me a lot of ideas of what to do, and went out of their way to serve me vegetarian breakfast. The Japanese style rooms and the entire house are sparkling clean. I like the location a lot; it's surrounded by different historical buildings; its full of life, yet at night very quiet. I would anytime come back again.

    An odd little vacation rental, rather than a hotel or bnb. It seemed like there were two apartments: the upstairs and an external renovated garden building. Nice little garden, although not really somewhere I spent any time. I had a large space upstairs. Fine location if you want to stay near Anping (where a couple historic sites are, but otherwise not much of interest).
