It was a convenient location for me to stay near the Fo Guang Shan Museum and Temple. The host is a friendly and cheerful bloke. The room was spacious and clean. Also, I got to talking with other guest there, which was delightful — I even got to sample some super authentic Pu'er tea!

Beautiful property, is like a mansion- couple / host’s are very kind and friendly. The leisure room had comfy seats and books, heaps of games to play too. Also get free breakfast of delicious homemade croissants and cocoa in the morning made by the landlady. I was the only one that night and the next morning the lady host very kindly drove me around the area to the reserve and to the volcano mud pools and dropped me off at the metro station too! Thank you so much!!

The boss and his wife were very kind and helpful. We got a flat car battery in town and he drove us back and then helped us to get a taxi driver to jump start the car - he really went out his way to help us - truly great hospitality. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was very nice too.

The day spent and stayed at Yellow and black guest house was something so special that we will never forget. Domingo, the owner of the house was the kindest, most caring, and friendliest person we can ever ask for as a hotel owner.
