"Porini" means forest in Swahili. Human activity is almost absent here, instead wildlife greeted us. FORGET Zanzibar. The emerald Indian Ocean and sandy beach offered us peaceful walks along the shoreline, with only a few fishermen passing by. The room was very comfortable and looked like the picture. The lodge was very big and the swimming pool was nice. The table outside for breakfast was very nice and made it comfy. Breakfast was also very tasty. Latifa and Abdallah were very nice and made sure we had everything we needed. Linda was also very nice. When we were leaving to catch our ferry to Zanzibar, we had trouble getting a Uber. She asked her driver to drop us to the ferry. She did not even charge us for that. This was much appreciated.

I lilked my stay there. Supervisor is a laid out chilled dude. I had no issue. Kitchen exists thats a rare exception. They dont expect u to clean after urself once u r done with kitchen (including the utensils) rarity atleast in places i have been. One lady cleans it for u. I loved my stay. Its clean compared to the price i paid. Met millionaires(who claimed to be one)

We had an excellent stay at this property, and I highly recommend it! The location is very convenient, just a 10-12 minute drive from the airport. The courtyard is beautiful and well-maintained, creating a relaxing atmosphere. My friend and I booked a two-bedroom apartment for two nights, and it was perfect in size, equipped with air conditioning and fans, and clean and tidy. Getting around was easy, as tuk-tuks were readily available, and the property’s location pin was accurate, making it hassle-free to find. I also tried the breakfast for one day—it was very affordable yet incredibly generous in portion. On the morning of our departure, they even packed a light breakfast for us, which was such a thoughtful gesture. A standout feature of this stay was the staff. They were very patient, helpful, and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Special mention goes to the host, Brown, whose warm smile and willingness to assist made our experience even better. When we encountered an issue with booking a ride to the airport, he stepped in and personally drove us there at a discounted rate to ensure we caught our flight on time. Once we arrived, he even helped me rush with our luggages. His kindness and dedication were truly remarkable. Overall, this accommodation offers exceptional value for money, with great amenities and outstanding service. Highly recommended!
