Wonderful place. Clean and comfortable bungalow. Very nice view from the room. It is very quiet, you can hear the roosters and you can constantly watch the rice growing process directly from your room. Both breakfast and dinner were particularly delicious. The owner is extremely helpful and caring. Thanks a lot to her for everything. This place left us with the best impression of our entire trip in Vietnam.

It is a homestay where you immediately feel welcome and at home. Hue and her lovely family are the sweetest and make the whole atmosphere in the homestay so welcoming and happy and especially the social connection with the family and other travellers just happens naturally. Lim's House is simply wonderful. Common spaces and rooms are stunning, built in a traditional way, with amazing cleaniness and materials used. Free bycicles are the best found so far, high quality. Coffee, teas and delicious bananas for free every day and time. Other beverages are available in the fridge for a great additional price. What about Lim? She is a super lovely host l, never being pushy, and after all she is an amazing chef! Every night upon request she cooks super fresh, traditional and delicious meals, using every day only fresh ingredients from local farmers and markets, which are honestly superb. We had the most delicious meals of our trip in Vietnam with no doubts. You will have also complimentary laundry at Lim's House. Lim will also help you with great efficiency and reliability in arranging scooters rental and transport for your next destination. If you look at the website you will find great ideas and tips to explore the province around Mai Châu, where it is recommended to use a scooter to enjoy at the best. However, I strongly suggest to talk to Lim which will give you additional hints and ideas, and you will be able to plan your days and visits at the greatest according to your wishes! Everything is so nice and traditional that you would never leave Lim's House! And after few days you will still miss it!

I slept in the dorm. I had a wonderful stay, the owner was really nice. I ate dinner and breakfast there, as there are no restaurants around in walkable distance, but the village is really beautiful and the kids are really friendly. I would recommend coming with a motorbike, since it is not close to anything at all and there is no bus or anything else coming through. But if you are travelling with motorbike, I highly recommend this place, as the ride is also beautiful and it is really worth it :) it could be a nice stopover before Mai Chau/ Lac Village, (about 50min drive).

We stayed here for 1 night on our first day of our motorbike tour from hanoi to hcmc. Unfortunately the weather in the north wasn't that good at the time, so we decided to drive more or less directly southward. But would we have known beforehand how beautiful Mai Chau is and how great the accommodation is we definitely would have stayed longer. The owner and host Ngan and her little family are so nice and friendly people. The bungalow was spacious, spotless clean with a beautiful view directly over the rice fields from the little balcony in front. Everything is also quite new and there was absolutely nothing for us to complain. Ngan cooked us a delicious dinner and a great breakfast too. Thanks to google translate and basic English communication was absolutely no problem and she did everything to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The location is quite and absolutely beautiful too. We could not be happier with our choice staying our first night after a quite stressful day here at Ngan Homestay. We can highly recommend staying here to everyone coming to Mai Chau.

The room looked out directly onto the most stunning views, it was the most peaceful and beautiful place I’ve ever stayed. You could walk anywhere in Mai Chau from the home stay, there are a handful of shops, restaurants, and massage spas nearby. Do not come to Mai Chau if you want to be busy, it is a town with a very slow pace. The room was basic but comfortable. The staff were helpful if asked but also leave you to yourself if not, which was perfect.

    The views were fantastic, the place is interestingly designed. The host was great and the breakfast they prepared was delicious. The beds are a bit hard but that seems do be the norm in Vietnam countryside. . You can also use their bikes to explore the nearby villages.

    This was one of my best stays in Vietnam. Everything was nice, rustically decorated. Lim's house is in the middle of village, where you can get to know how the locals live. The dinner and breakfast were fabulous. It was nice to chat with Lim and get to know other guests.

    Feels like home. The family of the owner who has a home stay beside are so accommodating and lovely. We are always having our dinner with the family from the next house. There’ s this lovely lady every morning who always gives us fruit and gives us a positive vibes and always trying to help us even if we only have our conversation in Google translate. The next time I will be in Mai chau , I will stay here again or the next house’s homestay( Mai Chau Home Holiday Homestay ) which is there family as well.
