Was very homely, and we instantly settled in. I wish we could of stayed for longer! Nice and peaceful location very close to central Hoedspruit. I will definitely come back again, and would certainly recommend for a couple looking for a quiet retreat. Staff were also incredibly helpful with regards to any queries. I won't ever forget my weekend there!

The lodge was amazing. It is really intimate, the owners and staff are amazing, kind and helpful. It has few rooms, which allows you to have privacy but also a real contact with the nature. We loved our stay at Kingfisher Cottage. Annie welcomed us and showed us around . The place was so clean and the gardens are beautiful. Loved the comfortable bed. We did a sunset game drive and saw zebra, giraffe, buffalo and warthogs.

    Beautiful villa designed in good taste, everything you need for your stay down to the smallest details, we where on our honeymoon and absolutely loved the quiet outdoor space with plenty of animals rouming about ,(on our third day we literally followed a lioness right up to the doorstep of the villa !) Adele is a lovely host who made sure we had everything we needed .
