Renato and his wife run a beautiful guesthouse that is perfectly located and beautifully decorated. The rooms in the old town building have been renovated so are air conditioned with modern bathrooms. Breakfast served in the garden was substantial with a variety of fruit, eggs and coffee. Renato couldn't have been more helpful with regards to parking, giving us suggestions as to how to plan our time in Shkoder and his suggestion for restaurant Fisi was possibly the best meal we had in Albania.

The accommodation provides full-day security, private check-in and check-out and currency exchange for guests. The host was wonderful. The food was definitely worth it. The meal accommodations made it easy to meet other travelers and share experiences. It was a far better experience than typical bar or restaurant experiences where you can be very solitary.

Set in Shkodër and only less than 1 km from Theth National Park, Mountain Vista Guesthouse Shkafi offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property features garden views. Guests can make use of a garden. View was amazing from the place. The supper was probably the best food I ate my whole time in Albania. Staff were super nice. Only comment is you have to park about 500m away down the hill if you don't have a 4*4, this may change if the road is just grated a bit, and not a big deal either way.

Location is perfect, you can walk to the Blue eye and the restaurants nearby. The hosts are the kindest souls EVER. The mom of our host did not speak english, still, she sat with us and tried to communicate with us. Sweetest lady. Our Host spoke English and was extremely friendly. So friendly, he has a special place in our heart now. He sat with us, drank with us and he even sat down with us to play UNO. He never played UNO in his life before, so we taught him how to play it and he enjoyed it a lot. He even won multiple times :) He shared stories with us and was extremely keen on helping us with everything. We only spent one night here, but I wish we could have spent more. This place is healing.
