The bed was very very comfortable and the heating worked wonderfully even though it was a cold day outside. The old milk bar has been done up a treat and this was the most interesting and different accommodation we have had. It is simply fantastic. We would very highly recommend to anyone, and particularly with a couple of children as there is much to occupy them there.

We appreciated the park is small, owner-run and near the main part of town. When wifi access was difficult, the staff helped out with an alternative that worked perfectly. All in all a pleasant overnight stay.

On clear days, guests can head outside to enjoy the chalet's outdoor fireplace or simply kick back and relax. First of all, big thanks to Tim, the host/owner, the A Frame is outstanding, he has put so much thought into the property that we were continually surprised. It's situated about a 15 minute flat walk outside the centre of Halls Gap and is very peaceful as a result. The property was very clean & is exceptionally well maintained. There is a king size bed downstairs with a Jacuzzi bath and there is another king size and 2 singles upstairs on the mezzanine. The kitchen is well equipped with virtually everything you can think of, a washing machine is in the bathroomwhere you will also find a hot powerful shower. There are plenty of places to dry the clothes after washing both inside and out. We had kangaroos visit into the rear garden which was great to see.. Car parking is undercover outside the front door. We loved this property, and it was great value too.

Naighre was exceptionally helpful in her very detailed explanation of our options as first time Hall’s Gap visitors which made our stay so much more valuable. Very much appreciated. Waking up with kangaroos, ducks and cockatoos ruining while grazing the the beautiful garden was a magical sight. In other review somebody complained about synthetic sheets, well 80% cotton is good for me. Slept like a baby!
