One thing that is essential, considering we're in the jungle, is a good insect repellent and insecticide in case you need it. The bird-watching tour and the excursions to the different waterfalls in the area are a must. I recommend the Hidden Waterfall due to its proximity and solitude.

What a great place! Ideal location- step out the door into the pedestrian zone. I stayed in a large, private room with 2 King beds, with bathroom and A/C. Bed very comfy. Very clean! A large bathroom sink; I appreciated having a fridge...all the coffee I could drink, and hot water for tea (at the reception). The room was very quiet overall - I did not need earplugs! (there will always be a certain level of noise anywhere you stay in Latin/South America in my experience). The receptionist was always "a pendiente". Highly recommend!

There is a private entrance at the bed and breakfast for the convenience of those who stay. Guests can make use of the outdoor fireplace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the sea and mountain. We loved Sintropia. Staying there was a unique experience. We got a comfortable cabana with an amazing view from the mountain to the sea and above the clouds, waking up with the birds singing. The cabana was spacious and comfy. The personnel was extremely nice, planning and guiding activities and hikes (walk in the jungle where you can see the plantations, the view, waterfalls, monkeys and more). You can get all your meals there and the food was really good and affordable. It feels really special, peaceful and remote (with good internet though :)) - which is amazing if this is what you are looking for. The link they share in advance explains very well activities available and how to get there: 30 min by jeep from Minca center plus a 10 min hike, which is definitely worth it; the lodge helps with the suitcases and bags.

They have 2 pools, jacuzzi (You need to ask at 9am to reservate), they have a gym and a play room which in my opinion was pretty cool. Amazing location, they do have Rodadero Near and also a store where to buy snacks

Located on the beachfront, this property features a garden and a shared lounge. The apartment features mountain views, a picnic area and a 24-hour front desk. Great, affordable place. Along beach. Only one restaurant that is very close by. Shower had no hot water, but expected for the area. Keep doors and windows closed because many bugs in the area. Nice stay!

Diana and her colleagues are incredible people and I sincerely hope that we will have the opportunity to visit their extraordinary hotel again one day. The place is an oasis of hospitality, our room was spacious, impeccably clean and comfortable with a great private shower and an incredible bed. The food that the restaurant offers is very tasty and carefully prepared. I loved every single second of our 3 days stay!

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a picnic area. We stayed in a beautiful cabin, with lots of space, a fan, and a good mosquito net. The owners are extremely sweet. The owners wife went out to buy food to cook for us in the evening, and the included breakfast was great. The cabins are just a 10 minute walk from the Tayrona park main entrance. It was a great place to rest after two days in the park.

We felt so welcomed at Casa MITA, Elena and her family were so accommodating and helpful, she even made breakfast early for us as we went diving in the morning. Her laundry service is exceptional and my whites have never been so white ! The breakfast is delicious too, casa mita is incredible value for money, I can’t recommend it enough
