Drift off to sleep with the stars twinkling above you. Great Deeside walks just outside the front door. Perfect cosy place for two; I’d say fitting four in here might get a little cramped, especially if you’re going to leave 4 people’s luggage lying around randomly. Hot tub a nice feature. One commenter complained about not being able to use it in the rain, which, frankly, is weird. When you’re immersed in hot water, the rain can’t touch you. The hosts were extremely friendly, and, in my case, literally went that extra mile! Big thank you to Karl, Bess, and Stacey!

Easy walking distance to Highlander Inn or Craigellachie Hotell for a meal. Wifi worked well and the setting of The Fiddichside Inn must be experienced to understand it. A perfect place to stay if you are in the area for hiking, salmon/trout fishing, photographing, distillery experiences, Scottish history and lots more. Surely a go back to place!

Isla Way Stays was an excellent retreat. The Hostess was in touch the day before to advise on obtaining keys. The home is beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. There are cooking facilities, a microwave and fridge, china and cutlery, a washing machine. The bathroom is really large and the shower is excellent. The beds are very comfortable. There is a Hotel close by which serves meals, a fish and chip shop and a great Cafe which serves breakfast, morning teas, lunch and afternoon teas. There is a Spar shop opposite the accommodation and an excellent bakery next door. There are bus stops within a 1 minute walk. Would definitely stay again if in the area. We got a delicious cooked breakfast, the room was beautiful, freshly renovated with nice bathroom. At our next stay in Elgin we will definitely stay there again if possible.
