She far exceeded usual expectations in looking after us, changing the towels regularly and checking every day to see that everything was okay. The location was absolutely ideal, right next to a charming Orthodox church in the centre of the town. We were renting part of what used to be her family home and it was blessed with an authentic historical character that is hard to find, along with excellent facilities. The bells ringing on Sunday morning were no problem for us - they were enchanting. We walked all the way up to the Monastery in Chora several times and were delighted with the whole experience.

You’ll enjoy the place! (I strongly recommend to rent a mini car or bike, since Grikos has no markets nearby. You have to go back to Scala, which is not much conviniently reachable from Grikos)

The host was super hospitable and communicative. Having dinner outside amongst the trees was magical.
