I really like the idea of having skylights, they make the kitchen very bright. by the way the kitchen has everything for cooking. Martha kindly provided us with extra coffee capsules. Thank you, Martha. Large refrigerator and washer/dryer. This was very convenient when we returned after rain. There is no photo of the bathroom. It is small but well equipped. The shower works well. The bed is large and comfortable. And the best part is the view of the mountains! Absolutely amazing and stunning view! Highly, highly recommended

A 5-minute drive from Galway city centre, Ardawn House offers high-quality en suite rooms and an extensive breakfast menu. There is free on-site parking and Wi-Fi at this elegant guest house on Ireland’s western coast. The location was great, far enough away from the pubs and crowds to keep it quiet but close enough to walk to everything. Denis, Mark and the whole team were exceptional hosts. They went over the top with accommodating anything we asked for. Having laundry on the premises was a plus. The breakfasts were amazing, the best we had anywhere on our 3 week trip to Ireland, Scotland and london.

All modern and spacious apartments have separate living rooms and kitchens. Each also offers a washing machine and free Wi-Fi. We informed the management of the estimated time of our arrival and told them we would get a taxi straight to the facility. When we arrived at the Westport train station we were met by a member of the management in a mini bus. Lovely surprise. When my husband and friend arrived much later that evening the kitchen was closed but they cheerfully reopened it and fed them with a fabulous plate of fresh fish and chips. The food was absolutely delicious and very plentiful. The owners and staff were wonderful, very warm and friendly. The apartment was very pleasant and comfortable. I cannot speak highly enough of the people of this warm and welcoming place. I hope to return there someday and very highly recommend it to people looking for a lovely vacation experience. Thank you again to the owners and staff of the Helm. Westport is a great little town in a stunningly beautiful location.😁👍

Location is good for visiting Galway and the staff was very friendly and had useful recommendations.

Everything was cute and perfect. Super quiet location.

Apartment located on second and third floors of building, so possibly not suitable for persons with mobility challenges, but perfect for all others.
