The hotel features a public bath, a karaoke room and free WiFi at the lobby. The staff was amazing, kind, and attentive. The view is great. We saw the deer from our window. Dinner and breakfast are amazing. The whole experience was great. Thank you so much. Pura vida!!

Jukeiso features Japanese-style rooms overlooking the majestic entrance gate (Torii) of Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, only a 5-minute walk from the Unesco World Heritage Site itself. The hotel offers public and private hot baths and a free shuttle to/from Miyajima Ferry Terminal. Free Wi-Fi is provided at the lobby. Our room was spacious and very authentic Japanese while also being very comfortable. The view over the bay was amazing. The dining experience was unforgettable and our dietary requirements (vegetarian) were perfectly catered too. The private bath was also a lovely experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, even by Japanese standards. Overall, we were sad that we only booked one night here.

Amazing service in a structure that think about you from the first to the last minute, from the transportation from/to the ferry terminal to the onsen introduction (should be ok for tattooed people too). Our room with Torii view was stunning, in japanese traditional style but with all necessary technologies and big tv. The dinner (all oysters) was good quality, but don't worry if you don't like them, they re gonna contact you and ask if you want to change with another menu. Perfectly clean, the position is a bit "up" the village but 2 minutes from the area to be visited, and no problem for arrival and departure, as mentioned. For the onsen they give you lovely yukata and all other accessories. The price is correct for this service.

With free private parking, the property is 24 km from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine and 27 km from Saikon-ji Temple. Shinsho-ji Temple is 38 km away and Miroku no Sato is 39 km from the guest house. Very clean and spacious enough for 1 night during the Shimanami Kaido. Host was very friendly and also let us leave our bags while we enjoyed the town. Would stay again.

This is an exceptional property for relaxing. We stayed 2 nights and had a great time.

It's a guest house with only 3 rooms, so it's quiet and private. Had very welcoming staff interactions and this is a great place to stay and explore the local islands from.

Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The guest house features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. Jock is a wonderful host, very giving with his time and tips. Made us takoyaki, which was yum!!! Parents found the chairs a bit hard (used to a sofa :) ), but it was fine. Location was fine, ten mins to at least 2 supermarkets and maybe 15 mins to main train station - easy to walk.

This was a beautiful room, very attractive design, spacious and in a perfect area for touring Kurashiki. It is exactly as pictured. The beds were comfortable and everything was immaculate. Check in was easy. Good communication with hosts, and restaurant recommendations, which was helpful. It’s not a hotel per se, and so no meals included but they provided a basket of fruit and baked goods daily and coffee, so that was perfect for breakfast. It was all we needed. The seating area has a good view over the canal so you could not be better situated.
