I borrowed a bicycle from the owner to explore charming Imai-chō village with its beautiful old buildings and cafes and shops - a highlight of my trip! From Miwa Station, it's easy to hike the historic Yamanobe-no-michi trail to Tenri. Loved that too.

Property itself was very nice with nice facilities and all taken care of wonderfully by Miyuki.

On top of all of that, it is super well equipped and everything works perfectly. Location couldn't be better, right between Nara train station and the famous Nara deer park. We were very lucky and grateful to find this superb apartment.

We only stayed one night and when we got to the house we were so sad we didn’t book longer!!! The host is so kind and clean! Our room was amazing, clean, the toilet and bathroom are modern - it’s a traditional but modern and warm house - and I loved the common area/living room. Everything we needed was provided, from tea to towels. It’s a great location for exploring the lower, less touristy parts of Japan, but simply beautiful!!!! shares Nara. I hope we can stay here again when we visit Japan again. (Original) This was the most calming, beautiful and pure guesthouse! And location is perfectly nestled in a quiet neighborhood very close to the park. protip there’s a bike rental place 1 minute around the corner.
