It was really a great experience to stay in traditional Japanese guest house. My fiancee was also lucky to be able to try on a traditional wedding dress as the lady got known we were on our pre-honeymoon. Althogh I was a bit sceptical about the location, my worries went away as there like 3 metro lines nearby and a lot of food options of course. Just take into account that bathrooms are shared in such guest house and you really sleep on tatami/futon. Go for it. We also enjoyed a traditional Japanese kaiseki breakfast which myself enjoyed a lot.

Free Wi-Fi is available at the entire property and guests can enjoy looking out into the traditional garden. Ueno Station is a 15-minute walk away. Very nice hotel in a quiet neighborhood. We had the traditional room which was very ample and comfortable. We enjoyed having the possibility to have breakfast (with different great options). Personal speak perfect English and are very helpful in answering our questions

The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful on our first stop in Japan. The host speaks Japanese and Chinese and little English. He exceeded our expectations and picked us up from outside the station. The room was perfect, had everything we needed (fridge, microwave, dryer) including a small hottub and was very clean. It was so comfortable sleeping on the futon. He dropped us off on the station and even gave us water for the onward journey!

The apartment itself is a testament to japanese engineering from the bathroom/toilet to the kitchen. Everything you could need, they have it. It feels weird going back home to our own apartment where the comfort is somehow less than what we had here.

A recently renovated property, Section L Kuramae - Asakusa is situated in Tokyo near Kuramae Jinja Shrine, World Bags and Luggage Museum and Komagatado. Among the facilities at this property are a 24-hour front desk and a lift, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The aparthotel has family rooms. My daughters and I loved everything about our stay at the Hotel. Very clean and comfortable. Close to markets and local stores. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible, especially when it was our first time in Japan. We stayed at the hotel for 16 days it was home for us and the staff were like family to us. Will definitely be staying at the hotel in the future. Not to be biased but Ken was our favorite staff member, he booked us cabs, wrote out a map of what trains to catch and where we needed to go. We miss Ken and his friendly smile already. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel 100% .
