There was air conditioning in the room which was so needed in the humid jungle! The husband and wife running the home stay have excellent English. They are so kind and helpful. We had an issue with the fan in the room and it was fixed within minutes! We had an incredible spread for breakfast and didn’t need to eat again until the evening.

Chathuri’s husband Gayan was ready and waiting to pick us up from Habarana train station and we were also able to arrange a safari with Gayan which was sensational! I would recommend this place to all couples and solo travellers as a beautiful place to stay in Sigiriya and Sri Lanka.

Lovely staff and atmosphere. You can use the whole kitchen. We stayed a day longer than we had planned.
