There was air conditioning in the room which was so needed in the humid jungle! The husband and wife running the home stay have excellent English. They are so kind and helpful. We had an issue with the fan in the room and it was fixed within minutes! We had an incredible spread for breakfast and didn’t need to eat again until the evening.

Breakfast was delicious, filling, and satisfying. It’s a wonderful place - I just wish I had more time to stay there!

The location at the top of the mountain offers a great view and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a relaxing and peaceful stay. It was a stay that I can honestly say I would like to see people here again when I visit Sri Lanka next time. I wish all the people working here be happy!

However if you are looking for an authentic Sri Lankan homestay experience then you'll be fine. The welcome that you get from Fareed is only exceeded by the quality (and quantity) of his wife Roransa's home cooked food. Really it's Sri Lankan hospitality at it's best.
