I have traveled all over India and it is by far one of the best accommodations for families and backpackers. Kitchenette, iron, attention to detail comforting. family run, very hearty, I spent a wonderful 5 days. On the one hand you enjoy very clean, well-equipped rooms with privacy, while you get excellent help with tours and information about the area. You can enjoy wonderful nature, whether traditional food, village life, Mannar City, or the beach. All in one place. I had wonderful tours put together by the host family for birdwatching, Talaimannar Pier, colonial heritage, Hindu heritage, suspension bridge, donkey farm, deserted beautiful beaches, all at a great price, and I didn't have to worry about anything. The absolute highlight was a beach turtle and the freshest, tastiest grilled fish in a long time. In short, I would love to visit this lovely guesthouse again.

Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. It was ok for 2 nights but the size of the room was very small for 2 people. It is wrong in the description. It would be nice to correct it so the guests know what to expect. There is a balcony but no chairs so I don't understand the point of having a balcony without chairs. We didn't want to be sitting in the small room so we were sitting outside on the terrace floor! Not very comfortable.
