What we particularly loved about the hotel (apart from the amazing spacious rooms and the delicious (vegetarian) food) was that it is Che’s family home and has such a friendly and calming vibe :) it’s only a short walk to local restaurants and bars and Madiha’s main beach is also only a few minutes away. Jeremy and the team are excellent hosts, attending to every request we had, whether it was transport, excursions, or restaurant bookings. The guesthouse is perfectly situated at a comfortable distance from both Dickwella and Hiriketiya, offering perfect peace and tranquility. There is a wide variety of traditional and modern dining options just a short tuk-tuk ride away. The place is immaculately clean, with the grounds extending to a gorgeous beach that was peacefully quiet (which we loved!). A big shout-out to Roshan and his lovely daughter Nikya, our trusty tour guide, who were brilliant in giving advice and organizing any outings we took. A fantastic stay with some great memories made. Highly recommended!
