Fred was a really welcoming and knowledgeable host. He went out of his way to make sure we had a good stay, and we really enjoyed the breakfasts in the morning. The location of the property is incredible right on the water.

The accommodation provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The rooms were clean and spacious, matching the description and photos provided online. The location was brilliant - quiet, with beautiful views. We accessed attractions by hire car which our host, Stefan, organised. He also organised a boat trip for us. Breakfast and evening meal were provided and were delicious. The staff other than Stefan were friendly and helpful, ensuring our needs were met throughout our stay. Overall, we would definitely stay there again.

The spacious holiday home is fitted with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, bed linen, towels, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and a terrace with sea views. Guests can take in the views of the river from the patio, which also has outdoor furniture. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and soundproofing. I loved this property. The view was absolutely fantastic and a joy to wake up to every morning. The house was in a lovely secluded position on the hillside and so well equipped from a fridge freezer, great coffee machine, excellent Wifi and so much more. The owner was so responsive by text and the lovely Melissa was on hand if I needed anything. She also cooked me the best meal I had on the island. There was a great little shop down the road and excellent local restaurant with a bus stop at the end of the track to get into town or to the beach or It was a 15 minute if you fancied the walk to Mourouk beach. I was a solo female traveller and felt very safe. I cannot wait to go back and can’t recommend this place enough, especially if you are wanting to experience a beautiful authentic island off the beaten track. This accommodation offers it all. Francois Leguat Reserve is 17 km from the chalet and Port Mathurin Market is 3.6 km away. The place was cozy, beautiful, simple, and very charming. We were surprised by a very warm welcome, and the morning delivery of fresh baguette and pies which was unexpected and a wonderful treat. The location is perfect. We will return for sure!

The property is non-smoking and is located 4.7 km from Saint Gabriel Church. Great place with very nice view of the sea and nature, in a quiet location. The house is well equipped with everything needed for short/long stays, and it's very clean and modern. Jeanette and Phil were very welcoming, and we felt at home since we arrived. Port Sud can be reached by foot, as there's a direct trail towards it (not showing on Google Maps)

At the holiday home, all units come with a outdoor furniture and a private bathroom. Wonderful place and very kind family. The breakfast and dinner were quite good, and they are very accommodating to dietary restrictions. The facilities were as described; it was overall clean and had a beautiful view of the surrounding forest/ocean. The location is also ideal for kitesurfing and diving in Mourouk. I highly recommend this stay for other travelers who are looking for a quiet and peaceful vacation :)
