This is a beautiful property, well located near the centre of the town and on the waterfront. The house is themed on the history of a previous Röder and some fascinating documents and pictures are on display. Even the rooms are named after other members of the family, which is a nice touch. The host was amazing and couldn't do enough, being particularly helpful in securing our e-bikes in his garage. Breakfast was wonderful and eaten at a communal table with other guests, which is fully in keeping with the ambiance of the house and was most enjoyable.

This was a lovely, large, comfortable room with every amenity we could wish for, but the main plus was our charming, helpful hostess, who gave us brilliant advice and cooked the most amazing breakfasts. Her garden was useful for safe bicycle storage and there is a convenient parking next door. The honesty system for wine and other drinks was much appreciated.

Property was easy, beautiful, and comfortable. We could have slept forever in the scrumptious beds! The terrace and views beyond were breathtaking and we very much enjoying nature watching from inside and out. The host was very kind and welcoming, and prompt with communication. Wish we could have stayed much longer but hope to be back for another stay in the future.

The location of the property was absolutely perfect, very close to town centre but very quiet and comfortable. We were on the ground floor room and it was great since one of our party has some mobility issues. I feel like I could write a full page just on the breakfast that was provided each morning. For two of the mornings, we had an early start so Fred delivered bread and meat and cheeses that we could eat before we left. On the days we were fortunate enough to have some time, there was enough food to feed a family of five. We were able to make sandwiches for lunch. We were blessed with incredible weather and we were able to experience King’s Day in the town. If we got tired, we were able to easily walk back to the room and have a rest before continuing on our day. There are any number of fantastic restaurants within a few minutes walking. Fred and Marion were very gracious hosts and helped out with any issues we had at all. I would recommend this BnB and these hosts for anytime you are fortunate after to visit this beautiful small city.

It was a very lovely place to stay in a great location with good restaurants to choose from not too far away. We could keep our two bikes safely inside the entrance and the hosts were extremely nice and very helpful. The breakfast was outstanding - the best on our trip - and we had plenty left to make a great packed lunch for our day's cycle so thank you!! Highly recommended.

Nature around is amazing and you can take a e-bike, kayak or sup to explore more. Rooms were very, very clean and they are taking a lot of care about the details. Breakfast was very good and definitely trip there was worth.
