One of the best spots I’ve ever stayed at on an island. It’s located about 10 minutes by car from the city center (a car is a must in the island). The place was spotless, the breakfast was amazing and dinner as well. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional. The views and the peaceful atmosphere were the highlights of our stay. Quiet and secure.

Set in Milagrosa in the Sao Tome Island region, Welfare AgroTurismo features a balcony and mountain views. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Guests can make use of a bar. This was the best place we stayed in Sao Tome. It is about 30 to 40 min drive from the airport. The garden in the front of the property is fabulous and well designed with many interesting plants and fruit trees. There is also a cocoa plantation through which you can take a leisurely walk. The owner, Maria, was an excellent host. She was very welcoming and friendly and she made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The food was very good and we had 3 evening meals there all of which were delicious and well presented. The Mousse au Chocolat made with cocoa from their own plantation was so good that we had it for dessert each time. The breakfast is very good too and we were given plenty of fresh fruits and fruit juice. We stayed there twice and both rooms we were given were very clean and the beds very comfortable. If you are after peace and quiet this is a fantastic place as you are surrounded by nature. There is also the option to take longer walks in the area.

The accommodation provides a minimarket, and currency exchange for guests. Very good location, and the apartment is equipped with everything you need. Comfortable bed, great shower pressure, good AC. Close to very nice restaurants and shops. Host is very accommodating and helpful as well as responsive. I would recommend staying here! Breakfast is served at a local downstairs. To check in you have to go to the shop on the right of the entrance. Pay cash (did say will charge my card but didn’t)

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Residencial Tamarindos, a charming hotel located on the beautiful island of São Tomé and Príncipe. While the hotel may not be the largest in the area, it certainly makes up for its size with its warm and inviting atmosphere. One of the standout features of Residencial Tamarindos is its affordability. Considering the nice location and the amenities provided, the prices are quite reasonable for the islands. The dining options at the hotel are realy exceptional. Each meal I enjoyed was a celebration of local flavors, expertly prepared and presented. What truly sets Residencial Tamarindos apart, however, is the staff. Every member of the team was incredibly friendly and eager to assist, making me feel right at home. Their genuine hospitality added a personal touch to my stay, and they were always available to provide recommendations or help with any questions 😊

Each room here will provide you with air conditioning and a balcony. There is a full kitchen with a microwave and an oven. Private bathroom also comes with a bath or shower. You can enjoy city view from the room. Spotless rooms, with aircon and very good internet, nice public areas and the option to use the kitchen. Airport pickup went without a hitch. I found the area around perfectly safe even at night, even as a solo female traveller. The nicer restaurants are about a 15-20 minute walk away, but there's a corner shop and several bakeries close by.

Guests staying at this apartment have access to a balcony. The apartment has family rooms. By far the best hotel in the whole country. There is nothing missing, the service is wonderful, the location is top notch. Highly recommended
