We arrived and welcomed by the hosts and they were very helpful in explaining what is available and where it was on a map when we checked in. They provided lovely egg sandwiches and coffee for breakfast. The room had a lovely view and was warm on the cold rainy nights we stayed. The beds are a little on the harder side but still comfortable.

Sunshine B&B is about a 2-minute walk from Jiu Fen Old Street and an 11-minute walk from Jioufen Gold Mine Museum. Ruifang Railway Station is 11 minutes' drive away. The location couldn't have been better. I travelled with my elderly parents and wanted to be close to the old street without having to climb too many stairs. The owners were nice enough to give us the only room on the main floor. The room was spacious and the view was spectacular. The room and public areas were so clean and well maintained. The breakfast was also stellar and highlighted the essence of Taiwanese cuisine. From the decor to the quality of furniture and customer service, we could tell the owners put a lot of thought into running the b&b.

Guests can reach Taipei City and Taipei Songshan Airport from 九份龍門客棧 l 近老街 l 含早餐 in 50 minutes' car journey. Location is the best. Breaking was delicious.

I was only staying for one night as part of my study abroad trip. When checking in, the owner asked if I needed her to drive me up to Jiufen when I said I was going to visit that afternoon/evening. I already had transportation arranged with some classmates, but it was so kind of her to ask. 🧡 The room was very clean and very comfortable too! The hotel was a cute B&B and only a five minute walk from the train station. Great location!

Especially warm welcoming from the host was the most satisfying thing. Room condition was also perfect! (Tidy and clean room with nice ocean view) Handmade breakfast sandwiches were also nice. I definitely will visit this place if I come to Jiufen.
