This guest house is a true hidden gem—surrounded by nature to reach we had a 5 min boat ride which made it more special,it felt like an escape into serenity. The host family went above and beyond, welcoming us with genuine warmth and care. Every meal was organic, homemade, delicious and prepared with love. Our kids had the time of their lives kayaking, fishing, and exploring, and we felt completely safe and at ease. A beautiful, nourishing experience we won’t forget.

From the moment we arrived at the guesthouse, we felt like we were at home. The hosts are so heartwarming and make sure you have everything you need. The food is delicious, with all natural ingredients. My girlfriend doesn’t eat meat, but they had alternatives every single time. This place is also one where you can enjoy nature and where you can relax. You can swim in the super clean water, use the kayak or paddle board, you can walk in the nature… and so much more! We have never had an experience at a guesthouse like this before and are definitely coming back!

Alfonse and Mimosa are such a sweet hosts. the house located next to main road and close to shkopet bridge and ulez lake the expreience in mimosa's house was so authenthic. so many chickens and animals around. mimosa make a an good local self-grown food and her smile and joy made our stay to be perfect. we stayed with our baby (14 month) and all was great. if you wish to face and discover an authenthic and local experience you really should go there! we will be back for sure. thank you mimosa and alfonse again !

We choose to stay here during our first night in Albania on our way to Theth. The property was gorgeous and well sustained. It was clean and we had a beautiful view from the balcony. Most particularly, we enjoyed how hospitable the family was. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by one of the cousins of the family - who also works here. We thoroughly enjoyed the dinner which was accompanied by delicious glasses of orange wine. Each dish was delicious. We learned that the grandmother who runs the accommodation is also the cook, although she has previously trained and worked as a doctor. However, she enjoyed cooking more - and she’s very good at it. We almost left, not knowing breakfast was included and were thankful to be reminded of this! We enjoyed a lovely breakfast outside and couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more. Everyone is gracious and welcoming. If you choose to stay here - you will be glad you did so!

The staff running this hotel is its gem! At the time we stayed there, we were the only visitors, and we were treated exceptionally well. The lady, who is a cook there, didn't speak English at all, so we couldn't communicate with her (only if using Google Translate sometimes), but she was very attentive to us in terms of paying attention what we didn't eat or drink at the breakfast (I.e., we didn't drink coffee, milk), and next morning she brought very delicious tea and orange juice instead. As for the tea, it happened to be Albanian herbs, that they pick up by themselves, and that lady gifted 2 bunches of that tea to us along with almond nuts! 🫶 They treated us with different kinds of jams and, what was especially thoughtful of them, is to prepare 2 sandwiches, 2 pieces of pumpkin pie and water for us to take to the airport. We left at night as our flight was early in the morning, so they made our breakfast in the evening and left it in the fridge so that we'd pick it up when we left. The man, who works as a waiter, was always helpful and friendly with us, and it was nice to have small talks with him. In terms of the hotel itself, it's simple, authentic, and cozy. The rooms are fully wooden, which gave me a nice feeling of calmness and peace. Our room was exceptionally clean and spacious. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The shower room is small but neat and clean. The hotel is located in a couple of kilometers from the main road and is connected with it by a tiny road. If another car is coming towards you, one of you might need to go a bit backward to find a bit wider spot and be able to pass each other. The location itself is beautiful, quiet, green, peaceful - only nature and a few houses here and there. You'd need a car to get to the nearest store. However, there is a restaurant in the hotel so you can have lunch/dinner there too or buy a bottle of water.

Our stay at Baven-Toven Naturae was absolutely incredible! My girlfriend, our two furry friends, and I spent a magical weekend there and every moment was pure bliss. From the breathtaking natural surroundings to the warm hospitality, this place felt amazing. The cozy and thoughtfully designed accommodations blended perfectly with the peaceful environment, making us feel right at home. One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible hiking trails nearby. Exploring the area with our dogs was an unforgettable experience—the fresh air, stunning views, and serene atmosphere made each hike truly magical. The food was another standout! Every meal was prepared with fresh ingredients and so much care. What made this trip even better was how dog-friendly the place is. Our two dogs had an amazing time running around and enjoying nature just as much as we did. It’s rare to find such a perfect balance of comfort, adventure, and relaxation in one place, but Baven-Toven Naturae truly delivers. If you’re looking for a peaceful escape where you can enjoy nature, delicious food, and incredible hiking, this is the perfect spot. We left feeling refreshed and can’t wait to return!
