A good-value stopover place to be noted, for it provides very comfortable accommodation - in the room I had, the double bed with its thick mattress and soft topper was one of the best I have ever slept in. The whole room was simply but well-furnished and decorated. Excellent wifi and the street outside is very quiet. Parking was not a problem. As the hotel's name implies, the restaurant offers excellent "Backhendl" - a very tasty chicken cooked in breadcrumbs - an Austrian speciality definitely worth ordering. Friendly service and an easy self check-in procedure (provided you have a smartphone with you).

Anita was an amazing host. She prepared a delicious hearty breakfast and offered helpful tips for cycling the Danube in view of the recent flooding. She and her husband were wonderful, they provided a haven for cyclists (very secure bike parking) and anyone else smart enough to stay here. We are taking fond memories of our stay here.

    Great location, right in the center of this superb old town. We were offered 2 big apartments on the top floor, both very big and newly furnished. We didn't had breakfast but we had a great evening meal, the restaurant is excellent! The owner warmly welcomed us and he was there all the time in case of any need. Parking right in front of the hotel, the entire central square is open for parking and it costs 0,50 Eur / hour until 18:00 on working days. The hotel kindly offers some free parking coins for the guests.

    Cyclists warmly welcome. Cosy, air-conditioned, comfortable and quiet room for one night. Excellent location in the historic centre of Enns. Breakfast for a fee. At first glance the price is quite high, but if you compare this price and what you get for it against a bakery or grocery store, the price is OK. It was excellent - fresh juices, great selection of food, fruit, vegetables and drinks. I really liked it.
