Gmundnerberghaus is amazing! We were breathtaken by our first glimpse of Traunsee from the property—it was like something out of a dream. Even though there was no staff on-site, the self-check-in and key pick-up were smooth. (At first, the quiet, empty hotel and peaceful surroundings gave us a bit of a thrill after our long drive!) The free minibar was a great touch, especially when no stores or restaurants were nearby. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of delicious options, all beautifully arranged. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

It was great, beautiful place. Room was nice. Downstairs you can find food and drinks. I wish there was a menu in english thats it. It was pretty easy to find this place, it has a parking place for your car.

    Location near the main road means heavy traffic in the morning (I know it when I reserved the room), the breakfast was very good. Employees were very kind and helpful. We also have supper at the hotel restaurant and it was excellent, they also have some good local wines.
