We required a large house that would provide individual beds for 7 adults as a group of us were attending an event together in McLaren Vale and we wanted to travel together to and from that event from one location because we live all over Adelaide. We also made a group dinner booking at The Boatshed cafe which was 5 mins away and very nice. The property was great - lots of space to sit inside and outside to eat together, a huge fridge to store our supplies, a dishwasher for so many plates and glasses, and a large lockable garage.

The cottage is in exceptional condition having been newly renovated. Instructions upon arrival were clear with pictures provided on how to find the cottage. Private parking was provided under shelter and off main street. Lets talk about the comfort of the cottage. The couch was the most clean and comfortable I've ever experienced. The bed: pillows, sheets, quilt and mattress clean and the MOST COMFORTABLE I've ever experienced, better than my own bed! I adored how beautiful the kitchen was being clean and organised, easy to find needed items. Bathroom clean, new and a very decent sized shower/ shower head. The TV provided all channels- Netflix, Stan Etc... so I enjoyed catching up on my series. The environment overall is absolutely divine. The view of the valley the property is located in holds a very special heart-warming vibe surrounded by nature with a view of the city and ocean. The peaceful cottage will draw you back- I already miss it and very much looking forward to returning soon as possible. Upon arrival, I noticed a generous gift in the fridge a lovely bottle of bubbles. I felt very welcomed and truly needed the get-away being a fulltime mum. This environment would be lovely and suitable for those who need a break from the hard yakka of life in general or a quiet getaway from the city life. A truly special space for anyone needing some time with their significant other or some personal space. I HIGHLY recommend this cottage. Please take a deep breath in and exhale walking into that cottage because it resonates the love, work and intention created by the owners. Special indeed and not far from many locations. Thankyou for having me on such short notice <3

    This was a lovely property to have a relaxing, peaceful getaway. The views are spectacular; we especially loved the deck and ate every meal there. Ideally situated for walking, chilling, and centrally located for exploration of the Fleurieu Peninsula and Adelaide. Our host Charlton was very prompt and attentive. Would highly recommend this property.

    The location was beautiful and the accommodation was everything we needed for our short trip to Adelaide. Close to everything you need, including the incredible wine regions, CBD and Glenelg - would stay here again.

    A big thank you to Donna and Roy! Very clean and quiet place with a great ocean view, close to MacLaren Vale and Adelaide center by car. Within one hr car drive to visit Barossa Valley. It was a great place to begin our trip to Australia after such a long trip from Canada's east coast! Too bad we were too jet lagged to take advantage of the ocean board walk at the end of our days or early mornings... Donna even knitted a blanket for our 5 months old baby!!!! Still can't believe it ... bringing it back home with us. Thx again xx

    Lovely, quiet location. Short walk to the coast and the spectacular Hallett Cove Conservation Park. Accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Off street, convenient parking. Friendly host. Definitely keen to come back for another stay!
