Staying at Izzet Xinaliq Homestay was absolutely fabulous and unforgettable. I traveled with my brother, and from the moment we booked, Izzet was incredibly communicative and helpful. He even assisted us in arranging transportation to the guesthouse, making our arrival smooth and stress-free. The room was cozy and welcoming, and as soon as we arrived, Izzet invited us to share a cup of tea with his family; a gesture that set the warm tone for the rest of our stay. We shared all our meals with his family, and the food was simply delicious. Everything was fresh, organic, and locally sourced from their own garden. One of the highlights was spending time with Izzet’s grandfather, who shared captivating stories and memories with us. These conversations were deeply enriching and gave us a true sense of the local culture and history. Izzet isn’t just a host, he’s a passionate ambassador for his village. He has an impressive knowledge of Xinaliq and even wrote a book about it! We also had the chance to enjoy quality time with some of his friends, listening to local music and sharing drinks in a warm, friendly atmosphere. The natural surroundings are breathtaking, peaceful, majestic, and soul-refreshing. This stay was much more than just accommodation; it was a full cultural and human experience. I can’t wait to return the next time I visit Azerbaijan.

This was by far one of the best places we've stayed at. We even ended up booking an extra night. Elnur and his family go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as enjoyable as possible. They always check in to see what your plans and wishes are. On our first day, we went on a horseback tour with Elnur, who took us through the beautiful mountains. On the second day, we hiked to a waterfall together with another guest family, again with Elnur as our guide, sharing interesting information along the way. The guesthouse also has all the essentials to make Western travelers feel comfortable — not that we expected it, but there was hot water and a strong Wi-Fi signal, for example. The village where the guesthouse is located is cozy and picturesque. Truly a recommendation and a highlight of our travel experience!

The house was amazing.. The host did every effort to make it comfortable for us.. The house is new.. Everything looks like we are using it for first time.. Every basic amnity was available. The room view was outstanding.. The bathrooms were clean and hot water was there.. We loved it..

Location is fantastic !! Wake up to the view of snow covered mountains !! Magical view from the balcony !! Just like the pictures shown in the website.. Hotel is walking distance to Shadag Mountain Resort, ski equipment and ski training is available, lot of snow related activities.. A great property for families and couples.. Stayed here in December end, place was beautifully decorated and lighted up.. Highly recommend. Good Breakfast with variety, number of guests were high, but lot of seating available and staff are courteous.
