The hosts are super friendly and social. They welcomed us with open arms. They are very open with their house. But nothing could beat the breakfast they provided for us for both days. Multiple types of bread, home made jams, home made yoghurt, multiple cheeses, fish, meat, veggies and fruits. Conflakes/musli with several different types of toppings like nuts, grains, raisings, coconut, all in separated cans to mix and match to your own liking. They asked us if we wanted some eggs, and how we wanted them, cooked, baked, boiled, toppings or no toppings. This is not a B&B, this is a luxury hotel! 100% recommend if you need to stay anywhere in the region. I was here with three friends, with the same opinion, so this review should really count for 4!

We had a fantastic stay at Madelette B&B. Kathy is an excellent host and ensured every detail of our stay was to our liking. She gave us many recommendations for places to eat and other suggestions nearby. Our room was very spacious and beautifully decorated with a comfy bed, beautiful bathroom and a lovely terrace to ourselves. The breakfast was also incredible - Kathy makes pretty much everything herself and it is all delicious. I particularly loved Kathy’s homemade chocolate spread! The closest restaurants are about a 30minute walk away through beautiful fields and a village.

We just needed a place to stay and didn't have expectations, but as soon as we arrived there we were discussing changing our next day's travel plans in order to stay there longer! The lodging was gorgeous, well thought out and comfortable, with amenities you rarely find in a privately hosted accommodation, like a heated pool! The location is rural and very peaceful, with beautiful views of the Belgian countryside. We were thrilled to see some Shetland ponies when we went out to the terrace for breakfast! The best part of the stay was our host, Lien, who was so friendly and gracious! We would make every effort to stay there again next time we visit Belgium!

The house was very spacious, well equipped with all kitchen items, plates, glasses, cutlery, utensils. The dining area was great, chairs comfortable. The sofa was lovely and the TV a great size. Two large bedrooms and a play area downstairs. Access to the pool onsite was good. The bathroom upstairs was great and very spacious, the bath was beautiful and deep and we had many relaxing evenings. The house, even on very hot/warm days is so cool temperature wise. Towels provided. The Staden area has a launderette we used in the week. Parking for 4 cars. Outdoor eating /seating area. Everything was class. Tom is an incredible host and whenever we needed anything he was able to support us in a prompt manner. Were hoping to come back again!
