Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you needed. Great room had a pool table, dart board and tons of room for our athletes to eat and play in. Storage room had an area to wax skis and a boot dryer for our wet ski gear, such a bonus! A great facility for our biathlon team to stay! We will be back!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Emily’s house! The house is not only beautiful and very cozy, but also perfectly equipped with everything you could possibly need – and spotlessly clean. We also enjoyed sitting outside on the terrace and simply taking in the peaceful atmosphere. What truly makes Velvet Fern Guesthouse special is the thoughtful and loving attention to detail: everything was personally and carefully prepared for our arrival, including a lovely breakfast and bikes we could use – such a kind touch! First of all, the hostess, Veena, is a very nice, friendly and kind lady. I am so happy to meet her. I enjoyed talking with her while having lovely breakfast with home made jam, which impressed me. Excellent value for money. We found a fully equipped kitchen, living room, dining area and upstairs an enormous bedroom with a wonderfully comfortable bed. Immaculately clean.The bathroom is downstairs, so not for those with mobility issues but for us, this was a wonderful find. Highly recommend.

Very nice separate room with Terrace and bath. Almost like a one room apartment. It has a TV and various utilities, Tee Coffee. Very helpful and nice hosts. It's great f you need a ride to the airport.

I really love this place. And Michelle was very kind with me. She helped me and took care to know if I had everythings. The guesthouse is in a neighbourhood very quiet and close to comox (20min walking). Thanks again Michelle for theses great moments.
