Very friendly and flexible host, we arrived late but got all the information we needed for self check-in. Peaceful area within a walking distance of the center, lots of restaurants and shops nearby. The room was comfortable and the shared bathroom very clean.

It was a lovely one bedroom apartment. Perfect for two people. It was so nice to have our own kitchen to use. It was easy to walk just about anywhere in downtown Yellowknife from our place.

This was a very comfortable home base for 3 friends, with a very responsive and supportive host. Jean responded quickly by email or phone anytime we reached out, which made for a very relaxing stay. When she found out we were in town ahead of the 4pm check-in time, she let us check in several hours early. She also was willing to take care of the clothing rental return (we left a bag of clothes behind for the rental company to coordinate picking up from our host). Jean has a very pleasant rental place, and interacting with her was a pleasure. About her place: The living room was fun to hang out in, and while the kitchen was lightly outfitted, it had everything we needed. We appreciated how the kitchen already had some foods (oatmeal, tea, condiments, enormous jar of peanut butter) for us to use. The bathroom was stocked with soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The location was very convenient - we were a 15-20min walk from many things, like the grocery store, City Hall, Snowkings' Festival, Niven Lake. We could catch a bus or taxi from the end of the block easily, and probably could've used the hotel shuttle system from Nova Inn if we wanted. If you like winter birdwatching, the living room window was perfect for regular ptargmigan sightings.

Newly renovated and very modern. There’s everything you’ll need for cooking in the kitchen. Housekeeping did a fantastic job at cleaning. Parking for the rental car A short walk to the center of town and to multiple stores/shops/restaurants.
