Our host Markus was very friendly and communicative. He sent in advance all the necessary info and even provided an extra matress to the room as a useful upgrade. The accommodation is all fine, suitable for 4 people and has its own access to the building via side staircase. Keybox check-in went smoothly thanks to detailed instructions we got. Special thanks to Rothenthurm parking facilities. Parking was originally announced to be paid, but on the parking machine on the place, there were instructions to get a free ticket for 24 hours. Nice surprise, it's very rare in Switzerland. Just a small detail, but it makes a visitor feel more welcome and less like just a money source... :)

The apartment exceeded my expectations. Top floor with a great view of the mountains. Very comfortable with a large kitchen. Especially good place for a large family. Attentive hostess showed everything in the town. Good value for money. Highly recommended

It delivered on everything it promised and them some more. Rooms and well taken care of and clean. The staff was great, helpful and very giving positive vibes. After we settled in our rooms we went down to the pub which is an integral part of the estate. The food was great. A simple but well made list of pub-styled dishes with burgers, pastas, stakes and toast with a few good beers. Prices were very decent for SUI so you can get back from hiking and dont have to pay a fortune to eat out. It's close to the city square so you can have a walk around Schwyz + if you plan to visit Stoos the Hotel is just a few km away from the funicular and we drove 6min from Hirschen. Big, positive surprise.

    Super friendly owners and amazing location! It is also only 25min away from the Rothenturm station, and the hike to the top of Mortgartenberg is really worth it as well, with a beautiful vieuw of the Ägerisee!

    Friendly staff (She waited for us until 11 p.m for check in) Location was so nice and beautiful. There are many thing to explore there. The beds are comfortable. The price for Switzerland is reasonable.

    The location is truly a picturesque village. Gorgeous meadows and snow capped peaks in the distance. Depends on the time of the year, there would be snow on the property too. Property is very cosy and the couple Beatrice and Armin are warm and friendly speak fluent English. This makes communication easy. They even offered to drop us to the station due to heavy rains. Wonderful experience.
