The staff were so friendly and kind! The whole hotel was so cozy, the spa was amazing! Our room was excellent with a super comfortable bed. The breakfast was wonderful, they provide so many options. Will be staying here again if in zermatt again

It was such a cozy and warm hotel. Good selection for breakfast. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The sauna was nice. The rooms were very big, clean, and had a great view. Location is perfect. 5 minute or less walk from the center. I didn’t even take a taxi anymore because it was so near. Everything was perfect and if I go to Zermatt again I will stay here.

Our stay at Face d’Or was absolutely exceptional! The entire facility is stunning – every detail is thoughtfully designed, and the atmosphere is both elegant and cozy. The wellness area is remarkable – a true haven of relaxation and beauty. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was Magdalena, the owner – the sweetest person on Earth!     great location and excellent for anyone travelling on a budget. Ability to take your own food and drink and with a pleasant outdoor seating area. Nice sized shower in the bathroom instead of being a little box. The whole hotel looked like it was well maintained.

    Cannot recommend this place enough! Was referred to me through a friend and so glad we stayed here! Affordable accomodation in a fantastic location and stunning views of the Matterhorn right from our window! The staff were so friendly and the place itself had great vibes. Breakfast being included in the price of booking was amazing and very helpful in Switzerland! Would definitely book again!!

    Wonderful place to stay! Very clean and comfortable. Perfect location in a walking distance from cable car station, downtown, supermarket, and train station. Good breakfast included. Will stay here again when I visit Zermatt next time.

    Location is ideal as it is situated in between the gornegrat station and glacier paradise cable car station. It is also a quick walk to the main town area. Hotel is very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is great with some DIY stations. Will return if visiting Zermatt again.
