the hotel, two cabins, is on route 7, 20 minutes north of Rio Tranquilo. Cabins are quite new, well maintained and comfortable. was a bit cold but probably we should have asked to use the fireside. The place is not near any facilities, town is about 15 kms away, so car is necessary.

It was a lovely stay, the host is very friendly, and we had a lovely time away from overly touristic spots. In another review someone complained about the wifi, but this is not true. It worked perfectly on both our phones.

The hotel is towards the back of the small town so quiet (but no lake view consequently). It is newly built with modern rooms. Very comfortable large double bed, good heating system, spacious bathroom with great shower and plentiful hot water. Staff were nice and friendly and we managed to communicate despite our lack of Spanish. There is an excellent kitchen facility which you can use to cook for yourself, and it includes all the necessary implements you will need for simple food. We would certainly stay here again.
