Very good chinese style breakfast. The staff was very kind and helped us with every question we had throughout our stay. The hotel own e-shuttel was always available to take us to the ferry point. We also had dinner at the hotel, which was delicious. Communication with the staff was done via WeChat, because of the inbuilt translation function. It worked really well. The room was huge and the bed very comfy. There was also a comfy sofa with tea pottery and black tea to do your own tea ceremony. The TV came with a chinese on-demand app. There were lot of English movies (a good mix of Netflix, Prime and Disney+) available, that was great. We only had to translate the menu on our own, but that was not a big issue. We could easily hike up to the sightseeing platform at Xiangong Hill, took us only 1h to get there, easy hike. To reach the city it is necessary to cross the river with a ferry, which runs every few minutes during daytime. Costs 5 yuan per person per direction. We arrived at Guilin by plane, the hotel organised us a fixed rate pick up and it worked very smooth! The highspeed trainstation is roughly 30 min away, to get there from the hotel, we had to take the e-shuttle, then the ferry and then a taxi. Everything was prearranged by the hotel and we were also helped with our luggage till we were at the taxi! Perfect support, no need to worry about missing the train.

Everything about this guesthouse was absolutely perfect. What stood out the most was the kindness and warmth of the lovely girl at reception, who greeted us in such a friendly and welcoming way, immediately creating a pleasant atmosphere. The room was exceptional – very clean, spacious, and designed with great taste and attention to detail. The entire property featured beautiful furniture and carefully chosen decor elements. The bathroom was particularly impressive, with a wonderfully comfortable bathtub that allowed for relaxing baths with a stunning view. This is a place that delights in every aspect!

The location is perfect: not far from Yangshuo railway station, lovely view from window, quietly. The great service: hosts promptly answer questions before and after check-in, use translator, which simplifies the dialogue, interesting tasty breakfast. The bed is really king size and very comfortable.

The staff was so helpful and arranging! They kindly recommended restaurants and sightseeing places around the hotel, and helped us when we had mixed up our booking dates. The room had a nice view and was beautifully decorated. I highly recommend the Chinese breakfast, which was the best we had in a hotel in China.

The hotel is very close to the center, but at the same time it is in a very quiet area. The rooms were very clean and had everything you needed and the best thing was Kate and the people who work there, very generous and kind. Amazing, very cozy place almost in the city center. Everything is close. Very helpful staff. You can literally order everything in the hotel. Comfortable beds, large rooms and clean bathroom. Very good breakfasts.

Lily was so sweet and helpful with everything from recommending local places to eat to the best cycling/hiking destinations and even offered to book my transportation back to the airport at a great price. I would highly suggest rock climbing here as well, she is a very experienced and encouraging guide who taught me so much on my first experience. Plus, she can even supply all of the necessary equipment! 10/10 I will come back to stay here.
