If you are looking for a peaceful place, in nature, with excellent hosts, this is undoubtedly the right place. The rooms are very welcoming. Several breakfast options, always well prepared. The whole farm is wonderful, a fantastic pool, very well-maintained common spaces, with plenty of space to walk and lots of wildlife. It's close to several national parks. Roger and his wife are wonderful hosts! Always concerned about your stay and showing you around, with lots of tips, always available to help. In addition, they are extremely concerned about transforming the area into a better place, very concerned about the surrounding nature and wildlife. We loved talking and getting to know each other better and we have no other way of expressing how fantastic this place was - next time we return to Costa Rica we will definitely come back here!

Ana is a fantastic person with a big heart and lots of knowledge about plants and flowers in the surrounding area. We were so lucky to have a sloth in the trees and and could even watch the armadillo in the garden. The colorful birds were just amazing. A great place to stay and calm down. Thank you Ana!!!

Fabulous place to stay. Very helpful and informative hosts. This place has a 5 star feel and the Chocolate tour is a must, it will probably be the best one you do.

Ernesto really exceeded our expectations. The hospitality was unforgetable. We got to know the farm and its surroundings and got a lot of infirmation abot Costarician agriculture, politics... The tradicional food was delicious. This stay was a big surprise. We felt very welcome!

Our family travels nearly half the year, across continents and lodging types, and NEVER have we received such a warm, thoughtful, and over-the-top welcome! I mentioned when booking that we'd be staying the night of our youngest daughter's 2nd birthday. Some accommodations place a little note in the room; I thought it'd be a nice touch for her baby book. The host reached out prior to our arrival stating they'd do a little something for her and I was already so touched. But when we arrived, we walked into a chalet filled with personalized balloons, a birthday sign, cupcakes, a candle, AND a note. Needless to say, both our girls were elated and my husband and I were completely blown away by the host's care and love toward our littlest. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts!! You made a long travel day so special, and a little girl's 2nd birthday an unforgettable one! On another note, the chalet itself is beautiful: modern, nicely situated in nature, and possibly the best-equipped rental we've ever stayed in. They have every kitchen appliance under the sun, a very obvious 1st aid kit (just in case), and a wonderful washer out back. Even more impressive is how spotlessly clean the place was - we were amazed! We'd highly recommend!

We absolutely loved our 5 night stay with Lusbeth, Alfredo, and family in the rustic cabins surrounded by their beautiful gardens. A generous, delicious, homemade breakfast was included. There was even home made passionfruit jam and fresh juice from their own fruits. There were many colourful birds, including toucans. They gave us a free night tour of their garden to see the frogs and other critters. They helped us organize activities and were genuinely kind. Our cabin was clean and comfortable with enough beds for 5 people. The kitchenette was a welcome addition so we could cook our own meals. I recommend supporting this local family by staying with them when you visit the Bijagua area and Volcanoes Tenorio and Miravalles. Lovely place and very welcoming hosts. Breakfast is huge. Good recommendations about what to do in the neighbourhood (do the night tour with frogs paradise, it was amazing!!). Really close to Tenorio national park (they can organize a taxi for you).

Super nice check in. Great English and we could pay by card. We even got a night tour trough the gardens! Saw several different frogs and a fluorescent caterpillar. Room was spacious and just perfect. Breakfast in the morning was nice. The juga natural was very tasty.

The staff of the hotel was really nice (especially Carlos) and helpful. Food in the restaurant is very tasty, there is beautiful view on the volcano. Good localisation also. I really recommend this hotel.
