What an amazing experience! We have done the two day raft in and raft out trip to Pacuare River Lodge and it really was one of the most memorable experiences you can get! The owners were friendly and all of their staff especially the guides were fantastic people, really professional and fun at the same time! Shout out to Moses! He was amazing! The whole trip delivered more than we could have hoped for! Nature at its best! Yes the accommodation is basic but it makes it a lot more rewarding as without wifi people actually talk to each other and engage with the environment! The wildlife that we got to see was also on another level!

We liked every moment spending on this finca , walking between cacao and coffe plantations, hiking to river and waterfall, enjoying the copious breakfast. The owner, Alfonso is an exceptional helpfully host and a man with a big heart .We stayed three nights and truly regret we could nt remain more.

Great location with most welcoming and friendly hosts. The cabin was nice - with an exceptional view directly from bed and the hammock. The pool is small but very refreshing and we even spot tucans in the morning.

Imagine driving up and up a mountain to arrive at your own cottage with outstanding views of the clouds, town and distant mountain range (and volcano). The bed and shower are really good, with a small efficiency kitchen for those interested in a longer stay. The breakfast was served in a common area, it too was lovely, tropical and delicious.
