First thing - a few hours before you arrive they send you a message that they accept only cash. So you need to run and get some cash from the ATM if you find one. While giving them cash they don’t even have any change to give you back. They force you to stay until the boss arrives next morning to give you the change despite your plan to leave before he comes. So they are not even prepared for you to pay in cash. Forget about getting a receipt. Next, the houses are not prepared for the guests and need some repairs first. The problem with the light switch that didn’t work was just the beginning. Two out of 3 external doors lacked locks so anybody could enter your house while you were out. I reported this and the first 3 hours of my stay I was completely locked there since the guy was trying to fix the problems and knocked on my doors back and forth. WiFi of course didn't work, the guy reboot the central router by it only helped for about 15 minutes. So you are completely out since the telecom internet signal doesn’t work there either, so you can not plan your next day, make bank transfers, etc. Don't recommend. They should make sure everything is working properly first before they welcome guests.

I had a lovely stay here (stayed about 2 weeks) and will keep good memories from it :) If you want a getaway from the party hostel and a chill vibe this is the place to be. Gonzalo and his mom made everything perfect and always had a friendly smile. You can have an amazing breakfast, movie nights, and good talks. You can spot some animals around, kitchen is well set up, everything is always clean, beds confortable with curtains in the dorms for privacy. Definitely recommend. Gonzalo will make everything to make you happy and give you good recommendations (he also does good pesto pizza and jamaica flower drink ✨️🙏). Thanks a lot ☀️☺️

    Absolutely LOVED this place! Super location, just a few steps away from the beach. The house itself is super nice with the huge windows which gives you a very close jungle experience. The owner is very nice, gives recommendations about what to do in the area and replies to messages very quickly. Would love to visit again!
