Brettental is one of many villages tucked into the hills of Freiamt. From the moment we entered the apartment, it felt like home. We met our son there for Christmas. A real Christmas tree with fairy lights and local biscuits were a wonderful surprise in the apartment. Everything was perfect - high quality, comfortable furnishings, homely touches, heating, large balcony, views. Fresh milk and eggs, plus local products are available at the farm. The spring water to the house is a treat. It is peaceful with walks from the doorstep, a friendly village decorated with fairy lights, two bar/cafes within a few metres (not sure if they serve meals). The atmosphere of Danielenhof is full of warmth and love. Thank you Christine and family for our wonderful Christmas stay.

    Great location- you can do walks straight from the apartment. Also good Basis to explore the region while being tucked away on a hill from the main roads. Apartment is just recently renovated and in v good shape. Warm welcome and v pleasant stay - would recommend to try out their restaurant when you’re there.

    The location is very peaceful and beautiful. The whole place is welcoming and friendly. Our room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was enjoyable especially the selection of fresh fruit.
