All breakfasts were excellent, our room (appartment) was very big, compfortable and clean and mostly very quiet at all , times . we also appreciate a lot the the kindness and hospitality of Judit , the owner, for making all effort needed to make us satisfied. wealso enjoyed the free parking next to our room.

Breakfast was excellent, all meals were excellent in face. Highly recommend Family run, the son spoke excellent English who was the cook. Such good food and the location was very quiet and peaceful. They had a freshwater nature swimming area. All in all a five star hotel !

We booked hotel last minute as it had good rating. That absolutely correct..everything was excellent, clean and modernized rooms. Breakfast was excellent..somehow eggs were tastier than any other hotels. We even got some coupons to get discounts on local attractions. All staff were very helpful and welcoming. Hotel location itself is not scenic but most attractions around the area are drivable 10-30min drive.. Expecially families of 4 rooms are spacious

In a word: Wow! What a wonderful experience. The hospitality, the spacious rooms and shower. And the food, oh my god... One of the best dinners we've ever had. The truffle sauce of the fillet steak was heavenly, and the halibut was cooked to prefection. The generous breakfast was also delicious. We cannot wait to return to Kamino in our next visit to the Black Forest!

It was comfortable and spacious. It also had all the commodities you could want. On top of that, it was very convenient for us that everything necessary was downstairs, so family members who had difficulties with the stairs could sleep, shower, go to the bathroom, use the kitchen, living room and one of the balconies all from downstairs. While others could enjoy some privacy upstairs with balcony and bathroom of their own as well. Also the location was top. Within 5 minite walk from the lake (with boat rental, and bathing spots) and from the center of the village (with restaurant, café, market). On top of that, we were able to park for free every day of the week in the outdoor parking spots of Sonnenburg (you only need to pay if you need to book a garage spot).

    The location, building, and staff were amazing. The hotel is a traditional Black Forrest house but the installations are relatively modern and, more importantly, very clean! The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is served as a buffet and it has choices for everyone: homemade bread, homemade jams, muesli, juices, etc. The sauna area was also very nice: modern installations with a relaxing outside area with view to the surrounding fields.
