Munich was just supposed to be a change of flights but when Lufthansa cancelled the flight home and greeted us with armed police instead of extra customer service personnel before frankly just closing the doors we had a desperate search of room for the night. I would describe the room as a modern high class design. Everything was clean and of good quality. Espresso machine and minibar in the room. Very quiet. Window facing the car museum/sales hall with a flashing sign which was a bit disturbing but easily solved by shutting the shades. If you are into sport cars you are going to love the display of old and new luxury automobiles. This was open all night to guests.. Good cooked breakfast.

Generally, almost everything was perfect or close to perfect. The staff was helpful. The room was perfectly clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was diverse and tasty. There is an underground parking but reservations are not possible. The price for the parking (12 euro in September 2023) looks fair, especially in comparison to other hotels and cities. The hotel is not placed in the center of Munich, but it's very close to the metro. Moreover, not being in the center means it's also quiet. Last but not least, the hotel is elegant and nicely decorated. All in all, fully recommended, I'll definitely choose this hotel again in the future, when I come back to Munich.

If you are looking to be in the centre of town and within walking distance to most of attractions, then Hotel Deutsche Eiche is for you! My wife and I stayed for 3 nights and loved it. The highlights were location, while close to everything it’s in a quiet street so no sleep issues. The free mini bar is amazing! What a great idea, topped up each day it was awesome to come home and crack a beer. The rooms are large and well equipped, the shower is wonderful with lots of water pressure. The hotel has easy access to the trams and trains. There is a restaurant at the hotel and lots of cafes, bars and supermarkets close by. We also found a laundromat a 10 minute walk away which was cheap and good. An all round great place to stay!

Location is super convenient , stayed in hotel before and after our trip to Austria (thru Muninch). Many restaurants/cafes near around. Easy access through trains to city attractions. Room/Bar with 1Euro beers and free beverages - is very useful and interesting concept. Well though rooms design especially in quiet-room of 2nd floor.

    Excellent location- very close to Karlsplatz for public transport and also day tours. Short walk into old town as well. Restaurants and bars very close by. Very clean and comfortable- The bed and pillows were amazing, the room and ensuite are spacious, excellent LED mirror for makeup. Bar and breakfast options available too but we didn’t take advantage of this. Felt luxe but within a budget!

    The place is absolutely spotless and the staff are attentive and helpful. The Base has the makomgs of a brilliant hotel and with just a few little.changes it could be a so much better. The location isn't amazing, it's a few miles from the centre of town. That being said, Valentino was very helpful ordering us taxis and giving us local tips on where to stop for a cheaper fair etc. I can't fault the staff, friendly polite and courteous evweytime we spoke.

    The hotel has excellent location - only 7m walking distance from the bus station and about 12min to the central train station. Ideal for people who need to catch an early bus/train/flight. The hotel was very clean, the room and the bathroom huge. Also there were pool and sauna available (which we didn't use). We were allowed to checked in even earlier than the official check in which was great!

It was all very clean - I had a single room and shared bathroom facilities and these were always very clean and tidy, could not fault. The breakfast was also pretty good for pretty cheap so no qualms there.

    Ideal location for me, with a Ubahn station nearby and family living just one stop away. Easy access to city centre too. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The room was great, very clean and tidy with a small balcony overlooking the garden. Appreciated the large bottle of water, replenished every day. Thoughtful design, especially the bathroom, and I loved the mini kitchen.
