The information and help supplied before arrival was very useful in aiding us to plot our way there. The house has real character and made the time spent indoors nearly as engaging as the time spent outdoors. Some interesting innovation to provide modern facilities, particularly the bathroom, but it all worked very well. The location is excellent in that there are places to go, sights to see, things to do, food to sample all within easy striking distance. The setting of Dilsberg itself is superb: hilltop walled village with views down the Neckar River and narrow streets and paths to wander along. And then there is the food - a good restaurant in the heart of the village. It was indeed the special stay (or in my case, return) for which we had been hoping.

Beautiful hotel located on a hilltop overlooking Heidelberg and next to the cliff railway. Nice large comfortable room, excellent breakfast, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar is a nice place to enjoy a few drinks as well.

The hotel was lovely and the location was fantastic. The receptionist working when I checked in was very nice and gave me some good cafés recommendations and some directions to move around. Such a shame I had such a short time there!

The facilities and presentation of the apartment was one of the best we have ever stayed in. The apartment was spacious in all of the room. They were even able to put a double bed in the living room for our friend who travels with us., not a sofa bed. The communication from our host, was detailed and his responses were almost immediate.

Lovely B&B Type Hotel, run by a friendly owner. Located in very quiet neighboorhood, but close enough to the center. Breakfast was an additional fee (10 Euro / Person) but well worth it. Served high quality ham, cheeze, fruits, etc. as self-service. And... The owner cooks egg, fresh-squeezed orange juice, coffee by your request. Not recommended for party lovers, but if you like to enjoy the quiet lovely "moment" during your stay, HIGHLY recommended! Would love to return to this hotel!
