Loved the location. Very near to the Schwarzwald National Park and lots of hiking opportunities. The rooms were nice as well and very comfortable. There's a grocery shop within 5 minutes walking distance which is a plus. Recommended if you want to unwind and relax.

Exceptional place to stay with very warm and welcoming hosts that are willing to help with anything and everything. The apartment is immaculate and contains everything you could wish for. Very clean, beautifully decorated and comfortable place to stay for long periods of time. Access to hiking trails are close and everything else is a short drive away. We will definitely be back.

    Lovely quiet location , The owners David and Angela were very welcoming and friendly , safe parking for the motorbike , lovely breakfast ,plus a honesty bar . And south facing balcony view.

    The location is the obvious advantage of this hotel. You can have a nice morning/late evening walk around the lake when there’s almost nobody else there. The path is extremely crowded during the day. The room was super clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing.

    The location is excellent with a great view. Breakfast was average and it was disappointing that there was no Yoghurt or fruit on offer. The room was very clean but the heating not very hot. This is a pension that we would use again when in the area. It is a dog friendly establishment.
