We loved everything about this peaceful hotel in the woods. The house has character and warmth, and our Deluxe room was spacious, cozy, and beautifully maintained. Frau Stecker was incredibly welcoming and helpful — she explained everything clearly and made us feel at home. We stayed twice — on the way to Norway and on the way back — and both times it was the perfect stop to rest and relax. The area is calm and green, and the atmosphere is ideal for unwinding after a long drive. We especially appreciated the personal touch and quiet surroundings.

The guest house is in a quiet, quaint village just a few miles from the main road and well worth the drive. There was easy car parking, check in was efficient, the room was large and scrupulously clean and breakfast varied and plentiful. Lovely place with a good room with all you can ask for in a good neighbourhood in Hamburg. We even had a sauna in the bathroom. The bed was comfortabel and they had everything for a family for a very reasonable price.
