We were looking for a place to stay for 3 nights for our wedding at the Ærøskøbing town hall. We drove from Germany. This stay exceeded our expectations and left us with wonderful memories, thanks to the host (Kristine) and her daughter. It was like staying at a friends or relatives place. Both of them were witnesses for our marriage and showed us around the island in the same and following days. Kristine made us also some delicious pancakes for breakfast ! We wish to return some time again in summer !

Every moment of our stay at this beautiful house was amazing. Line & Carsten were the most welcoming hosts ever and made our wedding morning preparations extra special and calm - we will be back to visit one day when we can stay longer to enjoy this beautiful place. While this is a hostel (with bunk beds in the room that we had) it does not feel like a regular hostel. Our room was pristinely clean and bright, with all the facilities that we needed. The shared cooking and eating facilities were generously sized and well-equipped. The property has loads of character. The staff were fantastic - warm and engaging and very happy to chat about the local area. The free bikes for use by guests were a real bonus and the location, just across from the water and a ten minute walk from the beach, is superb.

    Very charming old house, which has been turned into a very comfortable and cozy place for relaxing vacations. The area is wonderful in amazing nature and you'll have everything you need for relaxing days. The rooms are beautifully designed and very comfortable. The shared bathrooms are very clean and spacious.

    We felt very welcome the moment we arrived. We were made pancakes with home made jam. We had everything we needed to make ourselves fresh coffee or tea. The location was idyllic, looking out across fields and watching the hare playfully jump around each morning. Lovely and peaceful area. A short walk to the free bus. Lovely place to explore by bike and beaches close by. Perfect.

    Pleasant location and house. Our room was spotless clean, small and simple but convenient. There are two external bathrooms in the floor, which were sufficient for all guests.
