I loved it. Very quiet location. Lots of chickens and a fabulous Alsatian dog. Restaurants close by. Wonderful couple who run it. Amazing breakfast!

I had an excellent stay at Refugio Terra Esperanza. Emerson was so helpful in answering all my questions. Excellent services. He cooked me breakfast for $3 and helped me call a taxi to Cumbre Imbabura (which I highly recommend). The place itself is rustic, but charming and cozy. It has great views of Imbabura and Cayambe, so definitely try to wake up early for that. Overall, I would highly recommend this refugio to anyone traveling here. Emerson is a great host and I could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you Emerson!

Excellent location, great owners, lovely room. They brought our motorbikes into inner courtyard, very secure. Laundry service was very good. Highly recommend for a stay in Ibarra. Great cafe across the square too.

Very clean and well decorated. Though it was out of town it was a pleasant 20 min walk to the centre or a $1.50 taxi. We loved our stay.

The location is super fun with water sports and mini golf. We loved canoeing together as a family and jumping off the platform into the lake. There was a nice hang-out for those who didn't want to get in the water and they still felt part of the fun ordering drinks and food. We loved that they let us stay after check out to enjoy the property longer. Such a beautiful location and fun cabin feel while having all the comforts of home.

The personel was very helpful. They have provided me na incredible studio equipped with a king size bed and a hydromassage tube. The garden is large and beautiful. There od also a nice area with a swimming pool, there. The wi-fi is strony and it works seamlesly in the entire object. I was also impressed with the breakfast.
