Exceptional customer care. All staff were incredibly attentive and made us feel at home. The young owner came to greet us personally and told us the story of the hotel. It was such a lovely personal touch. Food was great both at breakfast and dinner, with authentic Egyptian dishes. The hotel was originally built in 1920s and it still full of old-fashioned charm. It's like stepping back in history. Great value for money. We will certainly be back if we visit the region again.

This place is perfect for people who want an authentic experience in the Egyptian country side. I really enjoyed getting away from the tourist cities and seeing the real Egyptian country life. Peter and his family are very welcoming and hospitable. People in the village are very friendly and welcoming as well. They will be very curious about you, just as everything in the village will be new and interesting for you, you will be new and interesting to the people in the village.
