Fabulous place very close to the Camino. The hosts were great at contacting us to tell us how to access the property etc and to answer questions. We arrived after a long walk to find milk and fabulous croissants and a great coffee machine. We were able to do a quick wash and dry our stuff on the patio - and sit outside with a glass of wine bought at the supermarket 5 mins away. The system for bringing and collecting our bags worked perfectly. Don’t have any worries about that. Everything about the accommodation is superb. This is the perfect stopping point on your Camino honestly!

First of all the hosts Monica & Mariano were amazing, the most warmest, genuine, beautiful people. They had a welcome beer for us arriving, stuff for breakfast, allowed us to wash our clothes, and even went and got us stuff in the shop, so we could relax after a tough day on the camino. Property was EXCEPTIONAL, 2 large balconies, one with sunbeds and one with table and chairs, really spacious bathroom with shower, kitchen, sitting room with table for 4, 2 bedrooms, a double room with amazing balcony and a lovely room with 2 single beds, nothing we didn’t like, food, snacks, beer and water in the fridge - nice touch would suit a small family or group of 4. Sorry the photos aren’t great as I’d taken a video - hence screenshots

What a lovely hotel! New and nicely done, in a great location right by the river beach. Staff were so lovely! Room was great (AC was much appreciated on a very hot day!) and beds were comfy. Bathroom was small but had a good shower. Loved this stay!

La Casa de la Abuela Boticaria is a place full of soul. The house itself has incredible character and charm, but what truly makes the stay unforgettable is the host, Augusto. He welcomed me with herbal tea after a long Camino day, and that moment of care meant everything. Throughout my stay, he was generous, thoughtful and helped me with extra things I needed without hesitation. The common areas are cozy and practical — there's a well-equipped kitchen, a washing machine for pilgrims, and everything feels warm and welcoming. This was one of the most memorable stays of my Camino. Truly grateful to have found it.

Perfect location, fantastic host who was very attentive to what ever I needed including luggage pick up arranged, all little extras, modern, fluffy towels, comfortable bed, 2 x reverse cycle aircon/heating ..can’t rate this highly enough. Price was reasonable .
