It was a wonderful place. We arrived late and were greeted by two friendly dogs. Breakfast choice was limited but high quality. My husband and I enjoyed the croissants and fresh eggs (from the hens outside!). We arrived late, but it was not an issue.

A lovely and well-maintained place—spotlessly clean and comfortable. The owner was incredibly kind and accommodating. We had our own cozy apartment with a fully equipped kitchen and a charming terrace. Conveniently located, with a supermarket just a few minutes away. We truly wish we could’ve stayed longer.     Location can't be beat. And you get parking (albeit some distance away) which is otherwise a huge hassle. Understand that everything up there -- shops, restaurant (only one mediocre place, albeit with good service and excellent wine), cafeterias, hotel, apartments, hostel -- is under the same management. So if you want to stay up there - and really to appreciate one of the world's great holy places, you should -- you have to take what they offer and the apts. are the cheapest option.
